A bit about Us and Our Story So Far

Inkost Ltd
In 1992, which was famous for the birth of singer Sam Smith and Bill Clinton getting elected, Rick Whitemoor, started filling used cartridges in his house and sold them to small local businesses, he had spotted a gap in the market, and decided to fill it (see what we did there!) This legendary business was known as ‘Inkost’ (some more observant customers may recognise this name, as it is still the LTD company we trade through!). His business developed and soon he moved into a start-up unit which in turn led to moving in 1995 to Signal Buildings (some would say it’s become the heart of the west country).
Laser Printer Services
In 2008 Ian Preston, joined Inkost when he merged his business Laser Print Services into the company.
This increased the services Inkost could provide, maintaining and repairing printers across the region.
Scribble and Ink
In August 2013 Daryl Fulls joined the business, and immediately set about changing it! Having spent 28 years working in and growing the family business www.moshulu.co.uk He brought the experience of building a team who together built a brand and in so doing a successful chain of retail stores and e-commerce business. And so the Scribble and Ink brand was born. Soon it became clear that customers loved the brand and the ethos behind it, Scribble and Ink could offer a near complete holistic supply service to the south west with toners, stationery, photocopier rentals, refreshments, janitorial and much more. Happy team – happy customers – and a great new way of doing business.
In March 2014 Jake Rossiter arrived at Scribble as an apprentice and is now the Customer Services Coordinator (Stationery Whisperer) and is the person who helps with your orders and queries.
And in July 2016 Lesley Allinson arrived starting as a Sales Representative/Account Manager, then recognised that her true love was organising and managing both people and process, becoming the Operations Director in July 2021, and then Managing Director in May 2022.
Claire joined us Finance Controller in December 2020 to make sure our adding up was correct.
Then in September 2022 Hayley Miller joined the team as our Admin & Accounts Assistant to help the team as we got busier.

Scribble and Think
In August 2015 Darren Graydon joined the business, and we created Scribble and Think our design studio. ‘Think’ caters for small to medium businesses that require a little extra from a designer to help with their branding, websites, promotional material etc. Bringing in Tom Hayes with him to help out with digital marketing and assistance with deliveries. Scribble & Think has grown to include a team of designers including apprentices all still operating from Signal Buildings. Scribble & Think has been proud to work with some of the very best local companies helping them find their voice, reposition their brand and increase sales – take a look here https://scribbleandthink.co.uk/design-portfolio/
